10 Real Life QUICK and EASY Diet Tips

The main benefits of eating a nutritious diet are improved health, more energy, and improved happiness. And the three pillars of total health and well-being are a nutritious diet, regular exercise, and healthy body weight.

However, are you sick of hearing  diet  advice from someone who appears to have an endless supply of money and time? It may simply not be practicable or financially realistic for some of us to spend half of our Sunday making carefully portioned meals for the rest of the week or buy all of our meals prepared in precisely the right portions. Some of us also despise the idea of weighing food to obtain ‘ideal portion amounts.’ So, here are five real-life diet tips for the rest of us.

1. Going out to eat? Restaurant portions are typically large; you’ll eat it if it’s on the plate. If at all feasible, order from the kid’s menu, which has smaller amounts.

2. Keep healthful foods on hand and within easy reach. When those first hungry pangs strike, a bowl of fruit on the kitchen table, a container of celery or carrot sticks in the refrigerator, or a couple of pop-open cans of fruit salad at your office can help you reach for something healthy. In other words, if it’s easy to consume, you’ll be more likely to grab something low-calorie and nutritious.

3. Frozen vegetables can be used instead of canned vegetables. Canned vegetables are typically heavy in salt, which you don’t require, and low in proper nourishment, which you do need. Instead, buy economy-size bags with zip closures to make pouring out a single portion for a meal easier.

4. Purchase a steamer for vegetables. One of the healthiest ways to prepare veggies is to steam them. Instead of leaking into the cooking water, the food keeps nearly all its original nutrients. Even better, it makes your vegetables taste delicious, so you’ll be more likely to eat them than greasy items that make you gain weight.

 5. Never eat while standing. ‘Eating without thinking is one of the simplest ways to ruin your diet. Treat eating with the deference it merits. Make a plate for yourself. Take a seat and eat properly. You’ll be less prone to shove food into your mouth without thinking about it simply.

6. Distribute your meals. When you eat three meals a day, your body stores anything it doesn’t require right now. You can keep your metabolism active throughout the day by developing a grazing habit. Have a small breakfast, a mid-morning snack of fruit with crackers or toast, a light lunch, and an ‘after school snack’ in the afternoon. Just keep in mind that you’re dividing the same quantity of food into smaller portions, not increasing your daily calorie intake.

7. Instead of soda, try a fruit juice or flavored water. Soda is a calorie-free beverage. However, there are no nutrition and a lot of sugar. So instead, reach for a bottle of 100% fruit juice or flavored water with a fruit spray.

8. Drink plenty of water. Even the Food and Drug Administration suggests drinking at least eight full 8-ounce glasses of water daily to keep your body functioning correctly. Of course, you should drink even more if you’re on a diet. Water helps your body digest nutrients properly and cleans your system, so it’s not only about feeling full.

9. Can’t afford to join a gym? Make a deal with your friends to go to the gym together. Make a date with your partner at least three times a week to play volleyball, go for a stroll, or do anything active for half an hour.

10. Leave the potato chips at home. Potato chips and other fatty treats fried in hydrogenated oil give fat and calories but little else. Instead, take a handful of dried fruit or a cup of yogurt for the same number of calories and far more nutrition.
